Undergraduate Research Opportunities
Applications for Spring 2026 are open
Are you interested in how cognitive abilities shape your ability to read? Ever notice that what you like to read can influence how you understand sentences? Work in the Communication and Language Lab and help with studies of language processing. We are currently looking for students who have experience with coding and data processing to join a project investigating second language reading.
Responsibilities include:
Using R and Python to scrape websites
Designing stimuli
Running participants
Research assistants in the CaLL lab work closely with a lab member on one or more research projects relating to language and communication. Students interested in working in the CaLL lab are encouraged to read some of the papers coming out of the lab. General Questions should be directed to the Lab Coordinator at the email address below.
